A bunch of stuff...

So, on my last post, I posed the question, "What could go wrong?" Unfortunately, I jinxed the whole snowboarding trip and Alice would break her radius (or is it her ulna?). No one wants to end their day with a trip to the hospital... Sorry, Alice... What a strange day... (Oh yeah, why is that people always laugh at me when I have a bloody nose?)

I heard a couple people saran-wrapped cars. I heard the victims were Tim and Kwan. I heard it was funny stuff... Not that I'm laughing, of course... Whoever these perpetrators are, that's not cool... Hahaha... Now, I'm laughing.

A few comments about Thanksgiving:
-Some Koreans can really butcher the Thanksgiving meal... I know Koreans really like kim-chee but dang, can we have one meal without the stuff?
-Thanksgiving Day tends to be more about filling ourselves with obscene amounts of food than giving thanks... And then, there are the leftovers... Sometimes, I can't help but think, "What a waste..."

Thanksgiving night after the fat feast, I went over to Eugene Ahn's because his family was away in San Francisco, and he was home all by himself. I don't know what it is, but sometimes when I go back home, I get really constipated. My time to "go" finally came at Eugene's place... I pooped a lot, and after I flushed, everything seemed to go down fine. But, there was poop residue, and so I thought that I would be a nice fellow and flush again. I flushed, and the water would not stop rising... Soon, the bowl was overflowing and water was flooding the entire bathroom floor. I don't know what I was thinking, but I ran out of the bathroom and informed Eugene what was happening as if that would do anything to help the situation. Meanwhile, the water was streaming from the bathroom into the hallway. Eugene and I looked at each other, not knowing what to do... We were panic-stricken, but at the same time it was such a ridiculous scene that we started cracking up. I finally took off my pants, tiptoed into the flooded bathroom, and stopped the running water. I surveyed all the damage that I had done, I looked at Eugene who was staring intently at me, and we started to crack up again. How the heck were we going to clean up this mess? We're stupid boys, Eugene and I... We decided to suck up the water with a vacuum. It was working fine until water started leaking from the freakin' vacuum... Hahaha... Anyhow, three paper towel rolls later, we had somehow managed to contain the little household disaster... I thought it was funny how Eugene's cute little dog, Polly, kept licking the toilet water while we were cleaning... Heh... What a way to spend Thanksgiving night...

Another friend of mine is now engaged... First, it was Cat, and now Judy... Back in junior high, when I used to hate Judy's guts, I used to call her "bin-dae-dduk face." Six years later, she's showing us her ring... Kids getting ready to marry and stuff... What's going on???

Because this is my Thanksgiving post, I thought I'd share what I'm thankful for... This weekend, I realized that I'm really grateful that my dad is so patient with me.

OK, here I go!
